Angel Yalda

Angel Yalda is a Canadian architectural designer, who specializes in Kitchen and Bath Design. From a young age, Angel enjoyed being creative with things like coloring, drawing, painting, and playing with playdough and building blocks. As she grew older, she realized she wanted a career in doing what she loves and exploring her creative side. As a multi-disciplinary creative, she earned her Bachelor of Design at OCAD University in the Environmental Design program. After graduating, she went on to earn her Graduate Certificate in Kitchen and Bath Design at Georgian College. During her time at Georgian College, Angel was awarded second place for DDA’s Universal Bath Design Student Competition. She had gained extensive knowledge on aging in place, and has since consciously considered the seven principles of universal design in her work.
 

Within the past 5 years, Angel has worked with luxury interior design and custom cabinetry
companies, where she gained experience and valuable knowledge from industry professionals. With ambition and an entrepreneurial mindset, at the age of 24, Angel founded Two Tone Interiors in February of 2020, and has been taking on her own interior design projects, specializing in kitchen and bath design, with an emphasis on custom cabinetry built-ins.

Over the past few years, Angel has obtained positive customer relationships through consistent and impressionable design services, and has built great business through a referral base. She currently manages all aspects of the business, and continues to set new goals. In an effort to stay knowledgeable and build her business, Angel became an NKBA member in 2023 and strives to remain engaged with the local NKBA Chapter. That year, Angel participated in NKBA design competitions. She won second place in the Small Kitchen category for the NKBA 2024 Design Competition and first place in the Best Traditional Kitchen category for the NKBA Ontario/Canada Chapter in 2024.
 

A lover of all things art and design, Angel’s passion as a designer motivates her to transform people's dreams and ideas into beautiful, functional, realities. Her comprehensive ability to understand her clients allows her to utilize creative thinking with industry knowledge to problem-solve, and generate captivating designs that suit the client’s style and needs.
